It's no secret that a leaky fuel tank can be a problem on an aircraft, which is why SkyGeek helps you stop leaks before they can start with PPG Aerospace® PR-1750 B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant. The integral aircraft fuel tank sealant has a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 360°F (182°C) and is designed for fillet sealing applications, but can also be used for other fuel tank sealing jobs as well. The flexible formula goes on smoothly and cures at room temperature, forming a resilient bond that maintains its excellent elastomeric properties even after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas.
PPG Aerospace® PR-1750 B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant is a two-part formula that must be mixed before application. The manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide compound is designed to be applied by extrusion gun or spatula, allowing users to work it into place before curing occurs. The sealant cures at room temperature and adheres to most common aircraft substrates, delivering protection and convenience.
