Product Attributes
PPG Aerospace® P/S 890 B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant from SkyGeek is an integral fuel tank sealant designed for fillet sealing and similar gas tank sealing applications. The heavy-duty fuel tank sealant has a wide service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), and can withstand intermittent exposure to temperatures as high as 275°F (135°C) without failing. The material is designed to be used on the inside of the fuel tank, so it's resistant to prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas. The two-part formula is sold in a pint-size kit with pre-measured components for convenience. Just mix and apply, then enjoy a reliable seal and less downtime.
PPG Aerospace® P/S 890 B-2 Fuel Tank Sealer is a two-part, manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide compound that cures at room temperature. The low-sag paste-like material is suitable for application via an extrusion gun or spatula, allowing you to get it right where it’s needed for the best seal and greatest reliability. The gas tank sealer cures at room temperature to form a resilient bond and it adheres to most common substrates used in aviation fuel systems, making it easy to seal a gas tank.
