The sealant is designed to resist high temperatures, making it the ideal choice for areas of the aircraft that are susceptible to fire. The sealant is sold in a six-ounce SemKit that keeps individual components separate until just prior to use. The design of the SemKit allows the correct proportions of material to be dispensed, so you can mix up a little bit of sealant or a lot. Once mixed, the sealant can be applied in a thin layer to the desired surface. Curing will take place at room temperature.
