MAGNAFLUX® 01-3137-45 ZYGLO® ZL-4C Water-Based Fluorescent Penetrant - 5 Gallon Pail

This biodegradable, fluorescent penetrant is water-based, meaning it is soluble in water and can be diluted infinitely (but generally is used as supplied, or diluted from 1:1 to 1:2 in water). ZL-4C contains water, fluorescent dye, liquid emulsifying agents, but has no petroleum base solvents and no corrosion inhibitors. When placed under ultraviolet radiation of 365 nanometers, it fluoresces a bright greenish-yellow color to aid in leak detection. The Magnaflux ZB-100F fan-cooled black light is recommended.

ZL-4C is used in applications where petroleum solvents are not desired, such as on plastics. It can also be used on ceramics.
