Exxon Mobil's Coolanol 25R is part of a series of silicate ester dielectric heat transfer fluids. These fluids are specially formulated to address the needs of sensitive electronic components and environmental control systems in aircraft, missiles and spacecraft. Coolanol fluids' superior quality makes them reliable safeguards against costly and potentially catastrophic failure of critical airborne electrical equipment.

In particular, Coolanol fluids are intended for liquid circulating systems (dynamic liquid phase) found in high-density electronic packages in aerospace and military applications.
