The corrosion-inhibiting primer goes on smoothly and delivers outstanding protection against the most common causes of aircraft corrosion. The primer has a vibrant green color, so it's easy to see where it has been applied and the chromate-are formula is low VOC, so it's safe to use in the hangar.
AkzoNobel Alumigrip® 4101 Epoxy Primer is designed to be mixed with the included curing solution. The two-component urethane-compatible corrosion-inhibiting primer works on a variety of substrates and is ideal for commercial applications. Each kit contains enough material to make two gallons of primer, preparing the surface for applying an AkzoNobel topcoat. Order the kit with a manufacturer's certification for a small additional charge. Please note that this kit is sold by special order and may take an extended time to process.
